The Path
Part I — Entering The Path
The Call, The Search, and the First Turn Toward Presence
A contemplative six-week teaching series exploring some of the first movements commonly encountered on the spiritual path.
“I’m longing for a home I don’t even know is real or exists, but I’m longing for it. And no amount of the false will quench that thirst.”
— James
About the Series
This series is not an academic study of spirituality, nor a journey into collecting more knowledge, beliefs, or information. It is an exploration of the living relationship you already have with what many have called Presence, God, truth, reality, or the divine life.
Together, we’ll explore some of the movements and recognitions that often arise along the contemplative path: longing, seeking, glimpses of stillness, surrender, confusion, grace, identity, effort, silence, and the gradual deepening into a more direct experience of life itself.
Many people experience moments of insight, stillness, openness, or inner change, yet have little context for understanding what is happening within them. This series is meant to offer orientation - not rigid answers, but a gentle framework that may help illuminate where you are on the path and what may be unfolding within you.
The emphasis is not on accumulating concepts, but on learning how to live in relationship with what is real.
